BOOTS AND HEARTS
SATURDAY WRAP UP
Is there any better way to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon than in a field, with some of your best friends, listening to country music coming through the speakers? All the fans at Boots and Hearts don’t think so.
For the third day, Boots and Hearts continued on with its like up of chart toppers and up and coming stars, on a meteoric rise. For those that might have missed our Friday wrap up, here’s the run down. Boots and Hearts-Canada’s largest country music festival-is currently in their 13th year running, and like many years past, takes place at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. A town just north of Toronto. It’s been known for its incredible line up’s that are star studded and well loved. Previous headliners have included the likes of Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, and Eric Church.
Saturday’s performances brought a bit more of a genre breaking twist with bands like Matchbox Twenty and Texas King-known for their hard hitting rock-taking the stage. But fear not country fans, we still got to see some of your country favourites, including
The Hunter Brothers and Thomas Rhett. Once again, the festival is broken up into two stages, the Main stage and the Front Porch stage, letting fans make the most of the festival experience.
The Main stage hosted Alee, The Hunter Brothers, NEEDTOBREATH, Matchbox Twenty and Thomas Rhett. The front porch stage saw performances by Elyse Saunders, Texas King, Lauren Watkins, and Jackson Dean.
Everyone who got to be there Saturday could feel the electricity in the air every time a new performer came out. With excellent food and absolutely fantastic music; it’s safe to say that Saturday at Boots and Hearts 2024, was not to be missed.
