Halestorm and
I Prevail Co-Headline
at Walmart AMP
On a summer night ripe with energy and anticipation, the Walmart AMP hosted a high-octane musical showdown as Halestorm and I Prevail co-headlined with support from Hollywood Undead and Fit For A King. The evening delivered an exhilarating blend of rock and metal that left the audience buzzing long after the final note.
FIT FOR A KING
Metalcore powerhouse, Fit For A King, opened the show with a forceful set, their blend of melodic metalcore and intense rhythm setting a high bar for the evening. The band's performance was characterized by aggressive riffs and soaring choruses, establishing a solid foundation for the night. Their engaging stage presence and tight musicianship showcased why they are rapidly ascending in the metal scene.
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD
Following their set, Hollywood Undead took the stage, infusing the venue with their distinctive blend of rap-rock and nu-metal. Their charismatic performance and energetic delivery captivated the audience, demonstrating their prowess in blending hard-hitting beats with rap-infused vocals. Hits like “Undead” and “Coming In Hot” elicited enthusiastic responses from the crowd, proving Hollywood Undead's ability to command a large audience with their genre-defying sound.
I PREVAIL
As the sun set, the atmosphere reached a fever pitch in anticipation of I Prevail, who delivered a powerhouse performance. Known for their raw emotional intensity and anthemic choruses, I Prevail captivated the audience with a setlist that balanced their heavier tracks with more melodic moments. This tour marked the 10 year anniversary of the bands cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" to which they paid tribute to the song and performed it in a heavier style than the original release. Their dynamic stage presence and infectious energy turned the arena into a sea of enthusiastic fans, united by their love for the band's powerful and relatable music.
HALESTORM
The night culminated with Halestorm, whose set was a masterclass in rock performance. Frontwoman Lzzy Hale's commanding presence and powerful vocals were the highlight of the evening, as the band delivered a high-energy performance that showcased their extensive catalog of hard rock anthems. Hits like “Love Bites (So Do I)” and “Misery” demonstrated Halestorm’s ability to blend fierce guitar riffs with emotionally charged lyrics, solidifying their reputation as rock heavyweights.
The Walmart Amp was the perfect stage for these performances by providing powerful sound and incredible lighting for the audience of over 7000 to enjoy.
If you have a chance to catch one of the remaining dates of this tour, I would recommend it highly. These are masters of their sound and the performances are nothing short of incredible. The audiences of this tour will not forget these experiences anytime soon.
